Dr. Bartolo Asks some important questions of interest to Massapequa residents - Chiropractor Massapequa Dr. Bartolo Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Massapequa chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
