We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is for you to explain your symptoms and exactly what has happened. We will discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination and any appropriate x-rays will be done to help identify the cause of your problem.

After the examination is completed, Dr. Bartolo may decide to treat you right away with heat or ice or electric stimulation to help with the pain. This varies with each patient and depends on how severe your symptoms are. Afterwards, you will be scheduled for your "Report of Findings".

Dr. Bartolo Asks some important questions of interest to Massapequa residents - Chiropractor Massapequa Dr. Bartolo Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Massapequa and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
